What has been happening the past couple of weeks?

We had a new fence put in this past couple of weeks.

Parts of it look great, and some parts were not done well.

We are a little disappointed.

Also, we just went and got the biggest cashier's check I think we will ever obtain.

We are closing on the purchase of the house on Monday.

We will be homeowners again!!

Q is getting dangerously close to getting her license, 

which means we need to get going on purchasing a car.

There has been a lot of debate about who should get the new car, me or Robert, 

and what kind of car to get.

Q has been doing little art projects here and there.

I love it!

The other morning I walked out to these cute sidewalk drawings.

Even though my allergies start acting up this time of year, I love the blossoms all over town.

It is getting hot, so these are going to disappear soon.

What I love about...

I love that even though Robert works long hours and is super tired, he will make time to spend with family.

Happy Birthday, Q!

 Q is 16!

The day started with Allison coming over, decorating, and waking up Q!

Allison went all out - confetti, rose petals, Red Bulls, flowers, tons of photos, gifts, and a Starbucks sammy.

She is not exactly a morning person, haha.

Regardless, she was surprised and loved it!

The only thing Q asked for was to go shopping for her birthday.

So, on Thursday afternoon, we went to Chandler Fashion Center.

While there, she got her ears pierced,

She's been wanting her ears double pierced for a long time.

She was thrilled!

I asked the family to text me what they love about Q.

Here were their responses.

There was a solar eclipse this past week.

Haley came over to check it out with Grammy and me.

Utah, Keegan's wedding, Easter, spring in AZ, and the Francillon's big news!

Q, Papa, and I had a fun trip to Utah to visit Eric.

Eric, Q, and Papa went skiing a few days while I stayed back and did some homework.

The rest of the time was spent eating, bowling, playing games, hanging out, and watching AFV.

Eric showed us around BYU campus.

It was really fun to see where he spends so much of his time.

His apartment was nice and his roommate seemed cool.

Of course it snowed a couple of feet after we left.

Q got in a lot of good driving practice.

Fun night out for pizza with Andrea, Shane, Hartley, Chandler, Sarah, Emma, Ben, Papa, Eric, and Q

Eric came for a visit the weekend after we were in Utah for Keegan and Linda's wedding.

They held a brunch and a reception at Palmer Farms in San Tan Valley.

Everything was gorgeous!

We had a nice Easter with a lot of the family.

Uncle Bob came into the living room at one point and started a fight with the stuffed bunnies Grammy used for decoration.

Grammy's very interesting way of handling raw meat.

Q says this is her favorite place in the house.

She likes to look out the window.

Tempe hired an artist to paint some bike lanes on College Ave.

It's so cute!

This bougainvillea on ASU campus is always gorgeous this time of year.
